If Jesse is fit, he plays.

Thanks, I can't keep track of when we play, have played or are likely to ever play again!

Yep. We’ve all been quick enough to slate Jesse in the past for substandard performances but lately he’s really stepped up so he deserves credit where it’s due. I made a bit of a comment last year that having no crowds didn’t suit him and affected his mindset/game. It’s no coincidence for me that he’s coming back into a bit of form now there are crowds back in stadiums. Let’s hope it continues for the rest of the season. For me, if he’s fit he plays.

Jesse isn't a bad player at all, he's just as an unorthodox way of playing. In 2017 it worked for him, the past few years he's been sussed out, just needs to go back to basics and we'll have a good player.derbystiger wrote: ↑17 Aug 2021, 12:33Yep. He does long minutes, always there to take ball up and good defensively.
Re: Wakefield up next
Not to mention he's good for getting the crowd and players up. Noticed he rushed in quickly when there was a scuffle against Saints. He's definitely improved as the season has gone on.

We see this kind of thing almost every time a player is looking for a new contract, it’s not just at Cas either.

Lee Harland became a quality player when he was into the last year of his contract. Very much like peak Adam Milner.

Amongst my friend group Lee Harland had a hyphenated name in the fallow periods between peaks - Lee Harland-calf..... was usually the announcement!

Ha, he had a really great season before his last contract and "hatchet" suited him at that time. As a kid growing up i loved his style.
