Re: Gregg Eden
Loved seeing some speed on the wing, wish Olpherts would back himself like Eden sometimes.
Re: Gregg Eden
Bearing in mind that Eden picked the ball up with no one in front of him and only got to the halfway line before hooker Brad Dwyer tackled him into touch. Yea that's a speedy winger.MrRugby123 wrote: ↑06 Aug 2021, 22:32 Loved seeing some speed on the wing, wish Olpherts would back himself like Eden sometimes.

Love your enthusiasm Keith.
Went out of duty
Expecting a hammering and a soaking
Floated out on air
It's nights like this we live for.
Grand Final anyone?

Re: Gregg Eden
Greg went well tonight, only one handling error attempting an off-load in our own half early on, but afterwards had a good game. Was surprised when he picked up the loose ball and had a clear run, but was caught by Dwyer, must admit I was already celebrating before the Dwyer tackle. If he had been fully match fit he would have scored that one and would have had a hat-trick tonight.

Re: Gregg Eden
Hamstrings tend to go when you are going all out . Probably hasn't got full confidence in it yet .1935tigeryear wrote: ↑07 Aug 2021, 00:10 Greg went well tonight, only one handling error attempting an off-load in our own half early on, but afterwards had a good game. Re: Gregg Eden
Bit like Macca catching McGillivray in the recent international. Do you feel the same about McGillivray too?Keithy wrote: ↑06 Aug 2021, 22:59Bearing in mind that Eden picked the ball up with no one in front of him and only got to the halfway line before hooker Brad Dwyer tackled him into touch. Re: Gregg Eden
No slouch though is Jerry either. I'd put Greg in the top 10 fastest wingers in the league.jackknife wrote: ↑07 Aug 2021, 08:55Mcgillivary not really known for his speed though.Tamworth Tiger wrote: ↑07 Aug 2021, 08:36Bit like Macca catching McGillivray in the recent international. Re: Gregg Eden
Eden does have pace but this season has tested more of him than is physical capabilities. I'm not sure he was firing on all cylinders on Friday but Dwyer is no slouch himself.
A good run in the team and a battle for next season's wing spot, or even a contract, should see him fly...

Re: Gregg Eden
Greg seemed a bit dubious about opening up.
Might still have his injuries (hamstring) on his mind.
Also not match fit yet.
