He was outstanding love watching him play wish he'd have gone all the way at the end to score but we scored anywayheritage1926 wrote: ↑06 Aug 2021, 21:54 Good win tonight is that when you consider we've only won 1 of our last 7 and they've ran Warrington and Wigan close and beaten Hull in last few week. We’ve done very well to get a player like Niall Evalds just need our half backs to link up and we’ll be fine for next year.
Re: Squad v Leeds.
Great win that, battled all the way. Now lets push for those play offs.

He went off for a HIA.
Only gives him 6 days.
Unless he passed it.

See Agar is his usual sour self and not giving Cas any credit?
Why do coaches consistently get a job when they are clearly not good enough?

Interview I've just watched he said credit to Castleford, I thought they scrambled well, particularly in first 15 and also in 2nd half.Lofthouse Tiger wrote: ↑06 Aug 2021, 23:10 See Agar is his usual sour self and not giving Cas any credit?

In the spirit of the final Blackadder episode - Goooodbyeee!
Re: Squad v Leeds.
He was right Hudds, we definitely scrambled well, but he didn’t mention that when we’d soaked up all they could throw at us we completely outclassed them. Great win and performance.HuddsTigers wrote: ↑06 Aug 2021, 23:15Interview I've just watched he said credit to Castleford, I thought they scrambled well, particularly in first 15 and also in 2nd half.Lofthouse Tiger wrote: ↑06 Aug 2021, 23:10 See Agar is his usual sour self and not giving Cas any credit?

Didn’t see that performance coming, but the forwards held Leeds out for long periods of time, as they had the majority of possession.
However I thought our backs, were the difference, good movement in the back line, with Evalds in particular a stand out, especially when joining the line. Hopefully we can now have a settled side for a while and push for a playoff place.
After all the poor performances of late, proud night to be a Tiger and a shout out to those that came along to support the lads.

Looked to me like a knee/lower leg injury, rather than a head knock, so hopefully OK.old cas lass wrote: ↑06 Aug 2021, 21:49 Could be without matautia v saints.

What a lift a result like that gives everyone.
Couldn't get away from work early enough to get to the game but listened to it on Radio Leeds on the way up. Commentary team raving about what a great game it was.
Important now that we have a positive end to the season & send DP off in the right way - as opposed to it being a damp squib.

Re: Squad v Leeds.
Went tonight out of duty
Hoped we wouldn't get embarrassed.
When we scored
I thought at least we won't get nilled.
The amount of penalties we conceded was ridiculous.
It's bound to bight us in the second half as we have played so few matches.
As time went on l began to believe.
Then l thought yes
I was annoyed we conceded an unnecessary penalty which gave Leeds an unwarranted consolation try.
But it wasn't young Jimmy planted the ball down.
It doesn't get much better than this.
Unles......

Dont know why people are shocked. When ever we've put a half decent team out we've done ok this year . It's just been rare we've been able to do it ..1935tigeryear wrote: ↑06 Aug 2021, 23:51 Didn’t see that performance coming, but the forwards held Leeds out for long periods of time, as they had the majority of possession.

Re: Squad v Leeds.
I still think we have good playoff hopes. Leeds have now lost the same number of games as us. A lot is going to depend on the run in form of Leeds and the two Hull sides and also whether we can get anything out of the two away games at Saints and CatalansBlackbulltiger wrote: ↑06 Aug 2021, 23:42 Shame we put the total season in to winning challenge cup would being shoe in for top six on this performance

How wrong though that this is the case, that a team that has treated the competition at times with contempt and is so far off the pace still has a chance to finish as ‘champions’Tamworth Tiger wrote: ↑07 Aug 2021, 08:42I still think we have good playoff hopes. Once again highlights what a ludicrous system end of season play-offs is

I still personally think the grand final should be contested between whoever finishes 1st and 2nd.alftupper wrote: ↑07 Aug 2021, 08:58How wrong though that this is the case, that a team that has treated the competition at times with contempt and is so far off the pace still has a chance to finish as ‘champions’Tamworth Tiger wrote: ↑07 Aug 2021, 08:42I still think we have good playoff hopes. I can see super league changing play offs to top 4 if games keep getting cancelled.Blackbulltiger wrote: ↑06 Aug 2021, 23:42 Shame we put the total season in to winning challenge cup would being shoe in for top six on this performance
