He needs to be the polar opposite of Blair and win matches for us. Anything short of that and he'll be crucified.

I'm hoping he's Eden from 2017.
Forgot about Eden. What happened with him? Tbh I rate him when he plays

I'd be giving Turner the chance. Not sure why everyone says they want better than him when he's been in form since coming here. If Sutcliffe is still rumoured I'd take him as an option at centre and back row meaning Turner could also fill the halves if needed, but as a centre he'd definitely do for me. That said, if the Hardacre rumour is true then that's even better, and would allow Turner to be the squad player he was intended to be

It will be interesting to see what happens with Trueman we've turned down at least two very good offers from Warrington for him
If he we was to walk away sometime next year out of contract that would be quite a blow given the financials at the club

2022 back line now looking like:

Evalds
Faraimo
Mamo
???
Feki
Hardaker?
If Hardaker fills the question mark on paper that would be the strongest looking 1-5 we've had for some time

He's out of contract and not long to earn another. If say he was off if he can find a team.

With form of 2017 he's a shoe in. There's no one else I'd give the ball to with the length of the field to go. Once he's fully fit he'd have put the ball down under the sticks.

Castleford Tigers prop forward Suaia Matagi admits that he is unsure about his future, given that he is currently on loan with the Tigers from his parent club Huddersfield Giants.

But with his contract due to expire at the end of the season, Matagi, 33, who played in the Tigers’ 20-10 victory over St Helens at the Totally Wicked Stadium last Thursday, has no doubt that he would like to continue his career at the Mend a Hose Jungle under incoming coach Lee Radford.

Since joining Castleford at the start of the season, Matagi has become a popular forward amongst the Castleford supporters.

“I’m not too sure at the moment, I’ll probably just do what I’ve always done and take it one week at a time,” Matagi said, when asked where he would be playing in 2022.

“That’s what’s in my control and that’s what I’ve done in the past and I’ve always believed everything else will take care of itself.

“But I’d love to stay. I know how I’ve dealt with things in the past when I’m coming to the end of contract; you’ve just got to take care week by week and that is what I’m doing.

“If I can put my best foot forward everything else will take care of itself.”

Would like Matagi to stay tbh. Fair enough he's getting old and uses a quota spot but he runs hard and I think Radford could utilise him well.
Keep hold of him, bring in a big forward and get an experienced half that can organise and step up in big games. Then I think we're in for a very good 2022

That would be great, I've heard good things, but if it's one out one in I'd say we then want another one

As it stands, we only have Feki, Blair, Mamo and Faraimo on the quota don't we?

3 spots spare to play around with. Matagi is worth one, possibly to replace Millo. I'd be using the other two to bolster the props ideally. Maybe one for the backs.

Kenny Edwards will also be one.

I’d happily keep Matagi. Available props are an endangered species this season and i reckon he has shown enough to get enough year.

Don't think Matagi as done enough as yet and would seem strange to keep him on when we are letting someone like Millo leave because he is too old, isn't Matagi the same age?

33 isn't he, we must be able to get better and younger from the NRL surely
