Now it's been officially confirmed then he'll get my full support. Always hated his hull sides as it seem a bogey team when we played them. So hopefully if he keeps our backs and toughens up our pack we should go well.

I just can't see Watts staying.
Watts and Radford have said openly that they clash. Watts challenged Radford's approach to playing 'one-up' rugby at Hull and they ended up in a position where one of them had to leave.
Have to see what happens, noticed Liams liked Instagram post announcing Radford as head coach.
Just said on tigers TV interview he's really looking forward to working with Wattsy and has a real good relationship with him.

Why do we need Shaul when Evalds has signed for longer

Faraimo would take him at least we would see him on the pitch unlike Feki
Evalds as not signed for longer was poor rumours on here
Maybe the “Evalds to leave” is the poor rumour on here?

I have some reservations about the lack of consistency of hull while radford was there.but one thing I always admired about him was his honesty and hardworking attitude.
No appointment is without risk but let’s all hope he is the right fit for our club. Now it’s over to mr Fulton to back his man
Good luck Lee

Digested the news now & on reflection:

1. We now have certainty on who will be running the show next term. Tick.
2. Lee shows real passion in his interviews and wears his heart on his sleeve. I like that.
3. In his time at Hull they all too frequently and, all too easily, turned us over. I look forward to watching my team do that next year.
4. One of my frustrations in DP's tenure is that we frequently got bullied by more aggressive and bigger sides. I think Lee will face into that.
5. DP led us to 2 semi finals.
- I will remember both for the rest of my life. Widnes in the cup at LSV & Saints in the play offs at our place.
- I loved every second of those of those days - not just the games. The support was magnificent.
- In all honesty though, we were lucky in both. Widnes were dreadful in the semi & we were incredibly fortunate to sneak past Saints.
- Unfortunately, what followed both those games in the respective finals was thoroughly disappointing - the GF was also a little embarrassing. We blew a massive opportunity on a major scale.
6. DP did win us a LLS and reaching the GF that year deserves massive praise. But we have gone backwards since then.

I'm a massive admirer of DP but we have to look forward now and back what's going on. What would be fantastic is if we could win a trophy before he leaves. The Challenge Cup is a genuine chance to do that.

Onwards & upwards.

On reflection I thought Lee Radford would be a poor appointment 2 weeks ago. From what I’ve seen and heard about Lee in the past couple of weeks has changed my mind as the bloke will 100% get the players behind his plans. His player recruitment is known to be good aswell because he has contracts all around the world. It was even him that found Ratu Nalaugo who was outstanding on the wing for Hull.

Strange thing with sport..
New boys brings all his staff with them and all the substantive staff are out of their jobs.
20 plus years in Briers case and he's shown the door.
Hardly any wonder they chase the £s
