Re: Matautia
I don't mind Peanut in the centres, he's solid. But I wouldn't lose sleep if we lost him. I was excited when we signed him, I thought he was the answer to the fullback position we needed, however he wasn't and in turn ended up in the centres.

Re: Matautia
When is Naiqama out-of-contract at Saints?
They wanted to sign him twice, and now his brother is there too.
If he goes anywhere, I suspect it will be there.

I like peanut but no way Saints would look at him.nottinghamtiger wrote: ↑11 Apr 2021, 22:52 When is Naiqama out-of-contract at Saints?

Re: Matautia
Apparently Wire also ready to break the bank for Tom Johnstone at Wakie. Seems Powell is plotting his squad already....... Who's plotting ours??
Re: Matautia
It will be a bit classless if Powell takes players with him to Warrington ok Truey he's going to be a world class player fair enough but Mautautia is just a decent player can look good one day and do daft things another

Warrington need better than we have if they are going to make the next level... The Warrington crowd wont be as loyal as us if things don't happen.

Re: Matautia
I'd imagine the only players Warrington fans would accept are Trueman, Watts, McShane (if Clark leaves) and possibly Evalds. I know at least 3 of them won't be going. It's hard to see who else in the squad would really improve Warrington IMO.
Re: Matautia
Can't believe (apparently) our current coach is being aloud to tap up players for his new club, only at Cas.
If rumours of Henderson are true that's another step in the wrong direction. In my opinion, we need a proven coach, one who has the ability to win trophies.

I can never work out how many of these articles get written by journalists trawling this Forum’s Rumour pages.

Re: Matautia
If he goes, good for him. Short career and all that. We need committed players who buy in to what the new coach wants.
I got he stays he's a good right centre apart from the odd brain fart.

Re: Matautia
There's such a thing as a salary cap, of course with a few 'Brown Envelopes '
to add.
Warrington can't sign all the players this forums contributors are saying.
Get real.

Re: Matautia
All do but some have less.
Millo might have 2 a season but he's involved much more and doesn't have anywhere near the suspensions. The same stands for watts, macca, oggy, massey etc...

Gratton said were going to spend the full cap next season if we could get Westerman for instance to replace Blair I would imagine it would be on same wages or less and that move would improve are pack 100 %
