Re: Joe westerman
Scoopage has started a thread.
Haven't heard anything from anyone else.
He must really have his finger on the pulse.
Can we have an update our holy one.!!

It's a rumour he's heard most people except that's what this part of the forum is for...

Re: Joe westerman
I’ve got to say I’ve been impressed with him playing for us. I kept an eye on him in one game and he seems to be quite a good organiser, never shirked tackles and seems to know when to offload which I like in a forward. MC (believe it or not) said on Trinity TV that he had doubts when he signed him regarding his past (alleged) behaviour but says he hasn’t had one seconds problem from him.Tamworth Tiger wrote: ↑26 Mar 2021, 16:12 Have to say that on what I saw of him I thought he showed enough to suggest he could do a good job for us up front
Re: Joe westerman
Think he'd do a decent job as a prop with good set of hands but at his age might only have 1 season left in him so cant see us signing him unless it was on the cheap

Re: Joe westerman
31 at the moment so if Cas do sign him it cant be any more than a 1 Year deal. Think he wants to finish his career at Cas and if he plays well he could get extra 1 Year contracts as per Millington. I'd be happy to see him in Cas Colours but he is from the Westerbeast family at the end of the day.

Neither did Luke Gale but does that make him a bad player?

Re: Joe westerman
Not necessarily but their past exploits don't mean they are still a good players.
For the record, I'd sign the 27 year Old JW.

Re: Joe westerman
Think Westy would do a good job for us in the front row, always rated him, and still feel for the lad if theres any truth in what happened when he was sold by the club.
Sounds like an opportunity for redemption for both parties to me.
Still as always time will tell

Re: Joe westerman
From what I saw last night from his passing, off loads and tackling he would be Millingtons ideal replacement.westyorkylad wrote: ↑02 Apr 2021, 13:00 Think Westy would do a good job for us in the front row, always rated him, and still feel for the lad if theres any truth in what happened when he was sold by the club.
