Calm down.

I am dismissive of those posters who come on here daily with “rumours” that always turn out to be incorrect. Also those who use the word “fact” as if it adds value to what they’re posting.

However, I will always put across my honest views and opinions. That, in my opinion, is what this place is for. If someone takes umbrage with what I have played, I welcome them to add to the debate by putting forward their views and reasoning. Yet a small minority on here take that as a personal attack and reply viciously.

Again, like before, you are being exactly what you say I am. The irony is astounding!

However, back to Niall. Does anyone think he has a shot at being the #1 for England in the World Cup and, if not, whose his main competition?

Defo a chance Tompinks just shades him for me at this moment but if he has the kind of season I think he will Wane might have to pick him

I think those are the only two in the running, especially after Jack Walker’s injury ruling him out for the season.

In any case, it's a brilliant spine for the new coach even if we do lose Trueman as per the other rumours we've heard;

Evalds
O'brien
Richardson
McShane
Add O’Neill to that at 13 and that’s a great ENGLISH core
Yes definitely, it's a great position for the new coach to inherit and the number of out of contract players might even be a positive for any prospective coach - in that you'd imagine they'd be able to express which players they'd want to keep and which they wouldn't.

There's also some good young talent in the squad like Brad Martin and Cain Robb if Wells gets the incomings right for 2022( defiantly a top centre) it could be a formidable squad for whoever the new manager is to inherit
Certainly, the future looks bright

I can see Wane choosing Tomkins at full back with Evalds in the squad to cover then playing Hardaker there if Tomkins picks up an injury instead of give Evalds the chance.

If we find some form as a team it wouldn't be out of the question to have our spine of Evalds Ricco Truey n Mcshane all in the squad. With Watts also in the squad

At the moment, I think Tomkins is just ahead of Evalds for the England spot.
Ratchford I'm not too sure about - if I'm honest, I don't think he's that good at full-back.
I do think we have a good chance and the team almost picks itself in most positions.

I still believe the best English full back is ZH who may be happy to join DP, wherever he ends up.

Didn't look great at full-back when he played there in 2019.
Played almost every game in 2020 at centre.
Looks like he'll play at centre in 2021.
At international level, you can't pick someone in a position they haven't really played for two years.

I can’t see Shaun Wane picking players out of position.

Be interesting to see how Matty Ashton goes today,at 22 he's the up and coming full back, maybe the World Cup will be too early for him but he'll certainly enter the debate.

Yes Dumper talks to most people on the forum like he knows better than everyone. This is the same person who didnt even know Powell was leaving the club. He's a know it all who knows nothing
