It is very difficult for the club to give deals beyond next season when we have no idea what central funding will be.

Why do people insist on thinking that Jon Wells gives the contracts out, he talks to players that the coaching team identify as targets. It should be obvious that the men who run the club decide what contracts and wages players get.
