Hearing we have signed this guy from Wakey. 26 years old, second rower or loose forward to replace Mike McMeeken......
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kelepi_Tanginoa
He is contracted to Wakey for next year. I don't know if we are looking at a swap deal or paying cash for him. Highly rated by Wakey fans but sounds like Chester has been playing him out of position. Thoughts anyone ?

Re: Kelepi Tanginoa
Would improve us so doubt it will happen.
Re: Kelepi Tanginoa
I saw someone had mentioned this on a thread on Wakefields rlfans page. Would be happy with this signing.
Maybe send Junior Moors the other way?

Re: Kelepi Tanginoa
I'd be happy. He's looked good in a struggling side.
Re: Kelepi Tanginoa
Ah yes your right. Thought we had Moors for another year for some reason!

Said ages ago that this was a player that would strengthen us. Big strong and athletic.

I've just taken a peek on the Wacky forum, it appears they are getting shut of some big earners to offer a big contract to Sam Williams at Canberra to be their playmaker.
Fifita to Catalans, Johnstone to the NRL and Tanginoa to us. I would be happy with this signing, in playing style reminds me of Willie Manu.

I’ve mentioned it elsewhere, he would be am excellent signing. Exactly what we need to replace McMeekan.

Re: Kelepi Tanginoa
I can’t see it happening would love it too though he hits some great lines and hits hard in the tackle and has great hands reminds me a bit of Nikau in style of play
Re: Kelepi Tanginoa
I've just had a quick look couldn't find about Tanginoa ...saw a couple of posts about Covid that made me think the world is about to end ...duke street 10 wrote: ↑05 Oct 2020, 20:06 I've just taken a peek on the Wacky forum, it appears they are getting shut of some big earners to offer a big contract to Sam Williams at Canberra to be their playmaker.

If the players stop playing for the coach and want him out there's no option but to replace the coach ...unless your going to sign a new team
