Wire forward
Re: Wire forward
They are also offering Widdop to NRL clubs...
Re: Wire forward
Maybe they will look for a young English half back this time...

Maybe Trueman to wire has legs... Hope he sets of in time he's slooooww. I wouldn't want to loose him though.
what doesn't kill me simply makes me...stranger.
Re: Wire forward
Warrington have consistently denied that Widdop is leaving. What’s changed?
Re: Wire forward
He was somewhat thrown under the bus in 2019 after Gale was out and Rankin was moved to full-back had a impossible task 2020 him and DR started off well then the pandemic hit and after the re-start he couldn't shake off a back injury
Im looking forward to seeing him next season in hopefully a Cas side full of confidence and flying high

Re: Wire forward
They will be lucky if anyone takes him. No club really needs a half back and most NRL teams have sorted their squad (and salary cap) for next season. That’s why Hastings hasn’t gone back.
Bulldogs are the only club who could do with a half, but whether they are able to pay what Widdop is on at Warrington I’m not too sure.
They will never learn. How many superstar NRL marquee signings is that now? And still no SL title. They’ve even gone a step further in 2021 by signing Greg Inglis - at least the likes of Sandow, Austin and Widdop were playing the game before they moved to SL.
