Hope they give him a ten year deal. They will always be hopeless whilst he is there.

Chester doesn’t miss tackles
Chester doesn’t drop the ball

Those are basics that should not stop with him.
Exactly, what the heck were they thinking trying to pass the ball in their own in goal area. Crazy.
But he coaches the outrageous passes, have you not heard him talk about the "Wakefield way" LOL.

Would have preferred them to wait until after we'd played them in a couple of weeks.

If only just seen a report about the new players he was bringing in and where he was signing a new contract or not.

Weird stuff.

I'm not sure anyone could've done any better with the lack of support on recruitment, etc. and it's certainly a strange time to make the change but I'm grateful we already had Radford in place.

I can't believe that a man who mortgaged his house to buy the club has any money to spend other than that he gets from sky.

He had not much to start with and the club now has a mortgage on the ground.

I would have thought any head coach who starts with very little can't ultimately get very far.

For what it's worth, the man with 2 assistant coaches couldn't coach many wins and the rumour is one of the assistants is coming in with Radford.

Carter has said that the verbally agreed contract with Chester will be honoured and the club are going to continue paying him. Now for a club that aren’t strapped for cash and a contract that isn’t legally binding, that is a bonkers decision, effectively 2 Wakefield coaches will be getting paid in 2022.

We often moan about Cas, but what a [REMOVED] show Wakefield are.

I wasn't aware they were still going to pay his wages. Absolute madness.

How about giving the tax payer more than interest on the loan to buy the ground or putting it into the stadium?

How do you go from a verbally agreed new contract last week to a sacking a few days later

I'm not sure Carter will be best pleased with Joe Westerman after his comments in this article:

Can't see anything wrong with his statement.
He understands the boards reasoning and denigrated no one.
He expressed a pretty reasonable personal perspective.
