CoronaVirus and RL

Post by CasRus » 04 Mar 2020, 17:55

Hi Guys,

This may be nearer than you might think but, in knowing everyone is now well aware of sizeable crowd gatherings looking like being generally banned in the near future, this may now effect RL Games this season and games may have to be played behind closed doors like what's happening in Euro footy games just now in Italy.

Also, being a contact sport , there is a very distinct possibility that this may even extend to games being totally cancelled anyway if you consider the advice given of not even shaking hands with one another.

Even the players may be getting a bit nervous of close contact and also if you take into account the total exhaustion from game to game potentially leaving them susceptible in not having enough immune strength to fight off this virus when exhausted (It could potentially have an effect when you body system is drained even though they are fitness machines and in the younger age bracket). No one really knows at the moment.

Not sure if any of you have similar opinions but I can see this coming and our RL may be one that is cancelled for the rest of the season at some point.

Anyway, it's a talking point for the forum and would be good to hear opinions even though it's a "We're All Doomed" topic !!

Yes I can hear you saying "Thanks for serving up more doom and gloom to our meagre existence like we want this as a hole in the head !" You're Welcome ….. LOL !!
