New tipping competion
New tipping competion
Just wondered if anybody wants to start up a new tipping competion from Jan 1

Re: New tipping competion
A few months ago I had a £20 E/W double, Double Shuffle on King George (50/1) and Traffic Fluide in Grand National (66/1). Looking at the card for tomorrow though I'm drawn to Polotilogue, think 6/1 a very fair price and and am each way bet to nothing. Merry Christmas lads.tigerfeat wrote:Think double scuffle a cracking each way bet for king George 4 places with sky can easy see that staying on in the home straight finishing in first four

Re: New tipping competion
The 3M Chase division looks woefully poor come Cheltenham. Only potential top notcher left looks to be Waiting Patiently and still no idea if he stays. Might Bite looks a shadow of former self, Politilogue doesn't stay, Bristol De Mai only wins at Haydock, Thistlecrack maybe, and Native River if it becomes a slog.
Re: New tipping competion
I backed thistlecrack for gold cup after yesterday's race should be a tough nut to crack up that hill in March

Re: New tipping competion
Think I'm going to stick with Waiting Patiently, I'll back ante post and just hope he runs over 3m next time out and then straight to Cheltenham. Altior looks another Cheltenham banker, what a machine.
Re: New tipping competion
Altior is a monster.
I'm a massive Waiting Patiently fan, but don't think they'll head for the Gold Cup with him, especially after yesterday.
Although it is shaping up like a very winnable Gold Cup this year, so who knows...

25-1 seems to offer a bit of value for WP.WF10 wrote:Altior is a monster.

That said it seems to be setting up nicely for Presenting Percy. Although short enough and would want to see him out soon.
I suspect Road to Respect may be a little shorter than the 12-1 currently available after tommorow, think he will run a big race.
Re: New tipping competion
Was on him (ew) for the King George. Thought my look was in for a second when he and the winner pulled away, although only for a second, a quick glance at how well Clan De Obeux was traveling told the story!tigerfeat wrote:I backed thistlecrack for gold cup after yesterday's race should be a tough nut to crack up that hill in March

I don't think Cheltenham is the be all and end all for connections of WP.KB80 wrote:25-1 seems to offer a bit of value for WP.WF10 wrote:Altior is a monster.

If I were them I'd maybe prioritise the Bowl at Aintree as a Spring target.
And go chasing the £1m bonus next season.
