No he's not, powerful runner and solid in defence, the only problem is he knocks on occasionally.

No way is Hudson better than Diskin and Newton, they are in a different class.

Hudson is an improvement on what we have, and a 2 year deal should be the maximum we offer him.

If i were a coach at a super league team, i'd insist on being able to choose who i wanted to target. Surely this can not be the case.

What do you mean by the club realising the deal was stupid.
In what way.

How can the club (or particular club employee) spend time on contract negociations with a player and make an offer to a player which he feels is fair to the player and acceptable to the club they work for only to then retract said offer, as it is now deemed "stupid"? Although I agree that the deal,if as reported on here, was too long and too much money who will want to deal with Cas if this is how they negociate?
That said, perhaps the club have realised that Huddersfield are releasing Hudson anyway thus putting us in a better position with what we need to offer.

Hudson choose to exercise an opt out clause in his contract that still had 1 year to run,so Huddersfield had not much choice but to release him.
