May be of interest to you all, but as part of Lee Crooks testimonial there is an event at SILKS PONTEFRACT on June 29th celebrating 30 years since we won the Regal Trophy vs Wigan

Hog roast is included in the price of the ticket and the team organising the event are first class. It promises to be a great afternoon to celebrate not only an excellent servant to Cas, but also Leeds and hull and the game in general too.

Good of Wigan to let us have the trophy back for lee crooks I reckon they meant parade it at the game v Wigan next week

i was out in NZ visiting a mate and watched the game on TV and what a game it was Wigan were big favs to wipe the floor with us the rest is history

Absolutely destroyed a team full of internationals not just by out enthusing them but by playing better rugby. Awesome day but no night for me as I was only 13

Remember the day vividly and fondly.

Knew from the first tackle we were there to win. Think Smales smashed into Skerrett. Could be wrong.

I was working as an office junior for one of the directors of Featherstone, in Ponte. Ian Smales hadn't really been a great signing at this point and he kept ribbing me about how fev had stitched us up out of £110k we paid for him

That day, Smales (and all of the lads) were Incredible. He put in the fantastic kick cross field to Grant Anderson who collected it superbly. Amazing day - I've never seen us play as well and that probably includes 2017.
