I'm sure he would if given the opportunity, if he's got enough too

Could be a good call this. Worked under some good coach's did Brad, including Stu Raper - the exact type of coach we'd be lucky to find again.

I think I'm in the Brad Davis camp at the moment!

He was also assistant to Eddie Jones with Australia RU

I think you might find he will listen to Chris Chester in regards the camp he'll end up in. More fool Martin if he continues with DM too long.

Think if MJ sacks him without giving him “time” and the “right squad” he will look a fool. It Was too much of an hasty and rash decision to sack lingard and instate Maguire. Hindsight’s a wonderful thing but a lot of us called for lingard to go, me included, but he like Powell on reflection got a tune out of a poorer squad and delivered some results. IMO MJ if he decided lingards comments were worthy of the sack, he should have done a thorough search of the market for a quality coach and or maybe held off sacking him until this point in time when the relevant changes have been made off field and he has full ownership and Chester on board would have maybe been a better timing to look for the clubs next coach to help on field performance and position.

I hope there's more happening at the club than on the Clubs website.

Probably all on a couple of weeks holiday.!!

its not been easy following our club over recent years we have had four coaches and we are still in the dolddrums it kicked off with Rsdfords recruitment and our squad as not improved since that lets face it if all our players were placed on the market only a few would find another super league club wishing to sign them , we keep putting the blame on the coach for me its the recruitment that as caused our problems

You wouldn't have thought that a successful business owner like Martin Jepson would not see the apathy there is now around the Club. Even at the end of last season there were green shoots of progress and a few of our own youngsters progressing through the ranks as every supporter likes. It felt that energy was building in a slow but identifiable way. All that is providing any hope going forward at this time is the backroom changes taking place, although confidence in the "dynamic" coaching team has evaporated. If this was happening with Mr Jepson's prime business I can't believe a major change would not have been implemented and promoted. It's the hope that kills you and when all you see is drift you kind of give up and turn away. I think we are in the middle of that.

We're just not delivering on so many accounts, new board, new players, new PR to name just a few at the moment. Very hard to keep the faith.

Yes all gone very quiet. We seem to be stumbling back into the Ian fulton era already.nothing coming out of the club, cas official website a absolute joke. No announcements to make fans want to attend games, not enough feedback from our new owner on any progress at all about anything? All in all abit underwhelming lately cas!!

Cas could really do with a week of announcements from today to bring some faith back to the club before Hull Kr hammer us next week.

Doesn’t matter anyway mucky. The club knows that Those “believers” and “true fans” will still turn up regardless of what you say or ask the club to do.

And I agree with you and the other post. All quiet on the MJ front, bod front, websites a joke. Media still amateurish and the recent “video” on instagram they’ve done they look more interested in dicking around and pulling players pants down than fan interaction or showing professionalism around training 🤷‍♀️

Maybe why don’t they show us some insight into how hard the players are been flogged to get the results on the pitch, oh wait, most of them been on a sunny jolly up scoffing there faces whilst we sit 10th in the league. Great work mags!

I don’t know, I’m just surmising, but does anyone else think McGuire is/could be the problem.
Seems one or 2 on here, and else where say the same.

Could it be the players don’t want to play for him, due to one reason or another.

Just goes to show a few players have already departed the club from there contracts, and others have had spells on the sidelines for reported comments/altercations with him. I think you can answer your own question there OCL 😂

Firstly on McGuire, he was here all last year as assistant and I’m led to believe he was the one that thought our props were absolutely fine pre season and was happy with George Griffin especially. We could have signed the big bopper before he went Wakey but McGuire wanted a back rower. McGuire believes George lawler is a prop even though all his best games have come at back rower. Why did McGuire play 4 different people at half back in pre season? What is mcguires style of play? What is his identity? What single player has he improved with his coaching this year? Why have Horne & Wood gone backwards under his coaching? Why didn’t McGuire want a dual registration partnership? Why does he persist to tell us how well they’ve trained all week in training but can’t transition it to a match day? Why did he not want Hugo start of year when got released by hudds but then was happy to take him half way through year? Why hasn’t he gave Jenson Windley a chance over Rowan Milnes (who simply ain’t good enough)? Why is it if we’re 12-18 points + down we never try a short kick off?

Scapegoating one player and hammering him every game regardless of how well he plays and calling for the coach to be swapped are the two favourite hobbies of 70% + of people on here.

Radford, get him out. Last, get him out. Danny Ward, 50/50 split on give him the job and get him out, after coaching 4 or 5 games at the end of season. Lingard, get him out. Danny McGuire, get him out.

There were genuinely people on here shouting for DP's head 2018 on when we were still bouncing along in the play offs every season.

If we had Matt Peet from Wigan and didnt win the league and challenge cup in season 1, then it would be Peet, get him out.

Its a past time for some it really is, but still if thats what floats your boat then have at it. For the 30% of us that dont have this hobby it gets a little repetitive and boring if I am honest.

Some of the stuff posted on here is so unbelievably negative at times I genuinely dont understand why you bother following the club any more, if I was that down about something I would stop doing it, lifes too short.

We're crap at the minute and have been since DP left, hopefully better things coming on that we can all agree.
