Re: [No Source] Jeremiah Simbiken
Not sure we should be using our last quota spot on another second aussie tier player.
Look what happened last time.
3/4 of them have left the club, not good enough.
Only namo and Horne have shown something.

Very clever post on Twitter from cas regards this signing
Re: [No Source] Jeremiah Simbiken
Lots of good things being said about this lad on other forums.
People saying he was the best player in the league he played in last season.
Others saying tackles everything and can’t be stopped near line.
Few saying they thought he be in the dolphins 17 next season.

Good to hear, Cas will probably play him at prop like they did with Putt.Mucky1978 wrote: ↑05 Dec 2024, 10:46 Lots of good things being said about this lad on other forums.

No suggestion that that is what the coaches are planning and they’re the ones who will be making the call.Sharlotiger wrote: ↑05 Dec 2024, 13:11Good to hear, Cas will probably play him at prop like they did with Putt.Mucky1978 wrote: ↑05 Dec 2024, 10:46 Lots of good things being said about this lad on other forums.

Re: [No Source] Jeremiah Simbiken
Agree , we have a new set up now and it is reasonable to suggest that , injury and suspension permitting , players will play in positions that , at the very least , they have played in before.Tamworth Tiger wrote: ↑05 Dec 2024, 13:38No suggestion that that is what the coaches are planning and they’re the ones who will be making the call.Sharlotiger wrote: ↑05 Dec 2024, 13:11Good to hear, Cas will probably play him at prop like they did with Putt.Mucky1978 wrote: ↑05 Dec 2024, 10:46 Lots of good things being said about this lad on other forums.

Re: [No Source] Jeremiah Simbiken
Give him a chance . He is potentially a really good player given time to settle .
Re: [No Source] Jeremiah Simbiken
He does need time and he looks a better chance than Nixon Putt for example. However he also just looks very ‘green’. The question should be should we be using valuable quota spots on players of that ilk or should they be a little more developed.

Fair point , but hopefully a little time will bring him up to his potential . Sadly , we aren't in a position to get the really big NRL overseas players and it's always going to be a bit of a risk , but JS looks to have something about him . There's a youtube video from an RL podcast (can't remember what it's title is) , where someone who is quite well informed on the Aussie game talks about all of our signings . He said that he was very surprised that JS and JR hadn't been offered NRL contracts .
