Maybe McGuire and Delaney could persuade Watkins to come to us be a welcomed addition.

Lewis and Sneyd that would be some half back combination

Singleton is top of Danny’s list apparently
Watkins to much in wages.

Shame because Watkins would be ideal. Not sure on Singleton, decent prop yes but he’s a penalty machine and we have two props in Watts & Namo who are already in that category. Mind you beggars can’t be choosers.

I’d take Chris Atkin as a cheapish utility back up (including that spare halfback) as well.

Watkins, Bullock & Atkin would fit the bill nicely.

Talk of maybe quota dispensation as well. Shane Wright is a player who i rate if that is the case, a second row who can also play in the middle.

Quota/cap dispensation….I understand the RFL’s desire to help Salford but doesn’t that encourage others to spend beyond their means?
Selfishly the consequences for us, who have cut their cloth to fit, will be competing against others who are stretching themselves and could well end up being in a similar spot to Salford.
The quota and cap should not be cast aside without very careful thought, someone could replace Salford if need be, they said SL could not survive without Bradford but it has…

Matt Shaw and Aaron Bower are 2 of the most reliable people reporting on rugby league but looking on social media a lot of Salford fans are pointing the finger at them for trying to make stories up about them
