Regardless of what any allegations are, this process appears to be lamentably managed, classic RL in a lot of ways.

Mark Aston seems like he's had that club at his heart for many years, this is a shame this is playing out this way. Of course the response may be proportionate, as we all say, we don't know anything about the allegations so shouldn't speculate.

Suspension confirmed after tribunal. It was for not following concussion protocol, selecting a player to play who hadn't passed the concussion test. The physio who allowed it has also been suspended.
