Re: Investors
It will be interesting if there will be a new version of ownership where they have open discussion with shareholders unlike the previous stewardship of the Fultons.

Doubt it... They didn't ask his approval lol. Tbh I'm sure he's delighted the fultons aren't in charge anymore though.

whilst we wait for a knight in shining armour to come along and plough money in to our club, we as supporters can do our bit buy a season ticket join the lottery and buy merchandise , no good complaining about the state of the ground the players we have not signed unless you are prepared to put your hand in your pocket, money makes the world of ours go round

Can’t always say the fans have to do this that and the other.
The fans over the years have backed the club massively.
The club asked for the fans to turn up v Leigh to guarantee our SL survival with a big attendance. We did.
Can’t always be one sided.
The club have to go out into the big wide world and look for backers/investors.
Simple as.
Re: Investors
I don’t think it’s accurate to say we’re looking for investors as the said investors will not receive any profit on their monies.
What we’re looking for is a hobbyist whom is a kindered spirit of all things Cas. Martin might find one.
But I think investors are unlikely to see any return whatsoever?

But nobody buys any sports clubs to make profit from it anyway, unless your name is Mike Ashley. Seldom has anyone ever made any profit through a sports club.

Re: Investors
Sustaining Castleford profitable is impossible in my opinion regardless of who is there. Unless we sign a squad of championship players at best and pay them 25k each. At which point attendances would be 2-3k and retail operations would reduce by 50% at least,TheMotleyFox wrote: ↑07 Nov 2024, 15:43Any business can be made profitable with the right people on board.Mysterio wrote: ↑07 Nov 2024, 13:50 I don’t think it’s accurate to say we’re looking for investors as the said investors will not receive any profit on their monies.

We’re looking for a hobbyist & fan, with big money, who are quite prepared to lose plenty of money. Just saying it as I see it..,?
