[Match Discussion] Wattsy

Post by Altofts tiger25 » 30 Jul 2022, 10:59

Poor poor poor.
Our no1 front rower, too inconsistent, been rubbish for last 2 seasons overall
He is no Walmsley.
We need a big nasty front rower to set a standard to our forwards.
Not turned into the big signing we all hoped for.
I believe his first full season back was his best and thats all we have had from him.
Inconsistent week in week out and too many bans for poor/lazy technique for me.

Thought he was very lazy in defence.
Just stood there and let player run by him.
Looked disinterested, like he didn’t want to me there.

Also, is there some aggravation between radford and westerman.
In his interview he said he took him off for tactical reasons.
He also said he did a jake Connor, meaning he (westerman) had face on.
Not the way to treat your own players saying that in an interview.

All the team were poor last night, the only positive for me last night was Miller, hope we get that form from him next season.
My thoughts on Wattsy are not just on last nights performance, its how i have seen it over the past few seasons.
He has turned into a squad player not a first team shoe in

Definitely changed.....used to think he was the one Cas player who could change the course of a game

These days he just looks lazy and carn,t be arsed as well as a disciplinary liability

Would say its the change of coach as never saw this under Powell but just think he has run his course and looks bang average now

Don't know if you noticed that he was blowing like a "Beached Whale" last night and not many game time minutes at the time of observation - no impact either !!!

I thought Mamo put some effort in but the rest of the team were bang average.

Spends more time in bookies than owt else he needs to give his head a shake and focus on his rugby.
