Me too all week I thought we would run rings round them they wanted it a lot more but they must have been surprised how easy it was in the end
The weird thing is Dad and me will be getting in the car Friday to drive over to Saints full of hope again!
Long journey? Games not till Sunday.
When was that changed? I’ve got it on my calendar for Friday 8pm

Looks like it was changed a couple of weeks ago and I didn’t see it - so, Dad and me will be getting in the car Sunday to drive over to Saints full of hope again! 😂 - cheers for pointing it out, I’d best call him tomorrow and tell him it’s Sunday not Friday.

They’ve all had stinkers not just Eden.
True but playing a player out of position week on week and hoping he keeps performing tends to only work for so long imo.
Its not by choice
Actually, it is by choice, Radford’s choice.
But he doesn't have a choice about playing someone out of position, we only have 1 half back available.

That can’t be right . There must be someone in academy . If not then then do our under 19s also use a winger or hooker in the halves lol

Obviously we were atrocious tonight , we all know that . But regardless of how we played , fair play to Wakey , thought they were outstanding , especially in defence . Attacking wise , our sloppiness and half hearted ‘tackling’ probably made them look better than they were but the scramble in D and commitment/fight was what won them the game . It’s bad result but doesn’t it really affect us too badly in grand scheme of things as I do believe we will still finish 5th (6th at worst ) . Well played wakey , hope they stay up .

We looked and played like a team of Old Plodders last night !!!!!

No inventiveness, No meaningful drive in the forwards, Wattsy blowing like a Beached Whale, Milner looked like a schoolboy against Men , Eden very average last night compared to his last 2 games, I could go on !!

Makes me think as to whether there was an agreement to allow Wakey to win to improve their chances of staying up to keep local RL interest alive in the area !! ......... many a true word or what ?????

Nah just a case of a team failing to see the warning signs which were obvious last week and turning expecting an easy win.

Full credit to Wakefield they dominated from 1 to 80. Our passing at times was awful. Panic plays. No building of pressure when we had chances. No running from Mcshane. Eden non existent from 6. It was poor. Wakefield were far the better team and wanted it more. Hopefully with some players back next week it will freshen us up. Bad luck it's v saints away though.

Miller had a great game looking forward to seeing him play next year for us.

Miller is good if left alone to dictate play, as he was last night.
Not so good if put under pressure.

Lots of slating of Eden, but it's hard as a halfback to play behind a well beaten pack. And the Cas forwards last night were, to a man, non-existent - Wakey steamrollered them totally.

You know you’ve had a bad day at the office when Mason Lino is made to look like Nathan Cleary…

When Lino and Miller click we play well, unfortunately it’s not regular enough.
