Re: George griffin.
Happy with him signing but 2 years with a 1 year option in the clubs favour would’ve been better. Had a very solid season so far in 2022

Re: George griffin.
Has he been that impressive to throw a 3 year deal at, not IMO. Solid enough player.

Re: George griffin.
Happy with that. Still hoping for two new props for 2023
Re: George griffin.
Solid player, happy he is staying. Not sure about a 3 year contract, maybe he has taken slightly less money for a longer deal? Either way given the paucity of available English talent then him signing up is a good thing.
Re: George griffin.
Steady player, i do feel 3 years is a bit generous of the club but without knowing what hes getting paid ya cant really complain.
Radford must thinks hes worth it.

He's really stepped up to the challenge and he's certainly improved his game. Happy with the new deal, but 2yrs with a option would have still been a good deal imo.
Re: George griffin.
Hope Danny Richardson gets a contract extension soon as well shown what a good player he is under Radders

Re: George griffin.
I can understand an extension but 3 years seems excessive to me, especially following the statement from Radders that he aims to reduce the average age of the squad (pack).

Kenny has already signed a new contract with Cas

Re: George griffin.
Oops! so he has lol
Re: George griffin.
IMO Griffin is bang average and at SL level, a squad player at best.
For this reason, I'm struggling to understand why he would be given a 3 year deal, or any deal at all!
Even on low wages, we should be looking at better forwards.
Would he get in other top half SL squads - I think not

Re: George griffin.
I agree I have never rated him at Cas. He was great for Salford but Radford must see something I dont. Or he has been signed on a cheap contract.orrsome wrote: ↑29 Jul 2022, 16:07 IMO Griffin is bang average and at SL level, a squad player at best.

Re: George griffin.
On his 'tackle' (and I use the word in jest) for Wakies first tryI would'nt give him a 3 month contact
Re: George griffin.

What a surprise playing out of skin for contract got one and back to crap
Re: George griffin.
Plodder at best, really disappointing renewal for me, particularly the fact its 3 years. Hes not very good and isnt likely to get any better....
