Re: Jacques O'Neill
Don’t wanna sound harsh.
But jaques must have applied to go on the show.
It was his decision.
He now as to live by the sword.
His best option now is, like as been said, get back on the rugby field.

Re: Jacques O'Neill
I think its nailed on he'll sign back with us for start of next season. He may still have obligations towards the show after its finished.
CLASSY CAS FOREVER
Re: Jacques O'Neill
Don’t count on it , he’s now reached 1 million followers on instagram, with that amount of followers on social media the money he will be able to make away from the sport is mind blowing. With the right management and PR He will soon be a millionaire.
Re: Jacques O'Neill
On the other hand , for someone who has been so open about their mental health struggles since leaving the show, maybe being back in the changing room with a bunch of teammates is his 'happy place'.
Re: Jacques O'Neill
Yep £10k a post he gets now.
Maybe he will make loads and then buy Cas
Re: Jacques O'Neill
Forgive my ignorance but who pays him 10 grand a post

Re: Jacques O'Neill
I dont think it will be that much but he will be getting paid for posts and each person that likes his post, it all adds up.
CLASSY CAS FOREVER
Re: Jacques O'Neill
From what my son says, it will be that much. The big online clothing companies make that money in minutes, so they will pay Jacques to wear their gear knowing they will recoup the money quickly.
He got what he went in for (money and fame) but like the others have already said, that won't make him happy. If it's true he has ADHD then playing sports and rugby for a living really is perfect for his mental health, not modelling clothes.
Re: Jacques O'Neill
Again, info from my son, he says Jacques will now be used as a model for clothes and bait to promote events such as nightclubs and festivals in which he will attend. Also says one company who will pay him 10k is Boo Hoo Man (probs not spelt correct) - big online clothing company for young people into fashion.
It sounds like hell to me because Jacques as an individual isn't valued here. If he hadn't gone on Love Island then somebody else would and they'd have got the same gig. Nothing to do with him, just his temporary fame. They really are going to use, abuse and then chuck him when he stops being relevant. Absolute car crash for his mental health.
Get him back on the rugby pitch!!

Re: Jacques O'Neill
Or he could play for Cas again and get a career ending injury and have zero earning power. Seems like a no brainer to me
Re: Jacques O'Neill
i think the perfect scenario for jack is to go part time . he can do the off- field stuff and join a championship team and get playing again , life not all about money he should play rugby again whether that is for cas or someone else but should not waste a chance to set up his family for life and earn good money .Tamworth Tiger wrote: ↑28 Jul 2022, 09:49 Or he could play for Cas again and get a career ending injury and have zero earning power. Re: Jacques O'Neill
Yes you've only a short career as a rugby player and when your finished you miss the craic with the lads obviously getting offered shed loads of money would seem the way to go but money isn't everything and for someone who after a few weeks in love island had to seek help for his mental wellbeing I'd say think carefullyCas Cohen wrote: ↑28 Jul 2022, 09:45Again, info from my son, he says Jacques will now be used as a model for clothes and bait to promote events such as nightclubs and festivals in which he will attend. Re: Jacques O'Neill
Bet Nick Youngquest wouldn’t advise him to keep playing
Re: Jacques O'Neill
Is that even a story?
Re: Jacques O'Neill
Re: Jacques O'Neill
The point being the “journalist” is not a very good one and feeds of “click bait”.
Re: Jacques O'Neill
The story was relevant to the question people were asking about how he could makeup to 10k an endorsement now he has 1 million followers.
Like I said if your not interested then dont bother reading the article. In your opinion it might be a non story to others it might be informative.
The journalist hasn't put anything that hasn't been put out in the main stream media.
