Cheyse Blair (Castleford) – Grade C Strikes with hand, arm or shoulder – reckless – 2 Match Penalty Notice .

Got to laugh, they don’t have a clue what Blair connected with.

Hand.
Arm
Or shoulder. Just take a guess.

I personally thought it was an open hand.

Very lucky to only get 2. Doubt he will be seen in a Cas shirt again

I have to admit, 2 seems lenient in this regard.

Very lenient in my opinion - it deserved more than 2. He let us down massively with that and it could have been very costly. I wouldn’t be bothered if we never saw him in a Cas shirt again to be honest.

There’s a video on his Instagram showing his little lad watch some Australian music.

He wrote a caption.

‘It won’t be long now.’

I assume he’s referring to going back home.

Can we appeal so he gets longer?

I was hoping for a 14 game ban... 8 left in the regular season 6 to cover the play offs. Wasn't too much to ask was it?

This guy was Melbourne Storms starting centre, not just some run of the mill player. Not sure what caused this drastic slump, but it's fair to say his rugby career at the top is finished. No NRL club will touch him.

Think Blair has done a decent job in both the Catalan game and the Wire game (until his brain explosion obviously).

He certainly tightened the right edge up (whilst on the field) in both games. Personally I'd rather have him available for selection than not.

Obviously not retaining him is the right decision but he could still have some part to play for me this year.

Without knowing his salary, it is impossible to make such a judgement.

Doesn’t matter what anyone thinks mate, no one knows what he’s paid so can’t say if he’s been good value our not. Opinions, on the other hand, will sway massively one way!

I agree he's looked solid in his last two games until he got sent off I've never doubted defensively he was OK just not got the spark we hoped for when we signed him

Don’t matter how much he’s on.
He’s been below average, might have had the odd decent game.
The odd decent game is not enough in nearly 3 years.
Could be on 20 30 40 50 100k
Just as not cut the mustard for me.
