Tom Grant
Tom Grant
Nobody's passed comment on his performance last night I thought he always sided for Leeds but after last night I just think he's totally useless what makes it worse he struts about like he's gods gift to refs when he's the worst I've seen for a long time

Re: Tom Grant
add to that Bill Arthur saying that the match official heaving brigade were out for this top clash with Ton Grant in the middle & Robert Hicks on one touch line, cant remember the other officials, but Bill thought they were the best?

Re: Tom Grant
That first 25 minutes in particular and the over all game, was the worst officiating I've seen since Thaler [REMOVED] us against Wigan, down't Lane a couple of years back and had to have a police escort out of ground, as Cas fans waited for him outside.

Re: Tom Grant
We said through out the game how poor he was... Surprised me it took until 77 minute for the red card to come...
I think if it had been a closer match there might have been a few more yellows as I think he lost control of the game in the first half

Re: Tom Grant
Warmsley should have walked as well for his actions of retaliation and causing a pile up of players coming together

Re: Tom Grant
I'll start by saying I haven't seen all, indeed much, of the game but of what I did see, Grant was clueless.
My coverage started by what I thought was decision after decision in Leeds' favour but then we had the Grace no try. I'd love to know the laws of physics that can explain a loose ball that is in fact in full contact and under the control of the body of force that is 'pulling' it. Grace's hand was under the ball yet the ball moved loosely towards it.
Stephen Hawkin would've been scratching his own head!

Re: Tom Grant
The thing is he's like that everytime I've seen him you get fans from other clubs saying how crap he is yet he's risen through the ranks to taking a top TV game says a lot about who's in charge of these officials for me

To send it up as a try when the ball hit the post and the Leeds player knocked on.
We just couldn’t believe it.
He was looking right at it. Beggars belief.

Looks like he's not been given a game this week after last week's shocker

Re: Tom Grant
That game was too big for him last week. He shouldn't be reffing games that big. If you remember 10-20 years ago, the better refs would always get the big games, now it just seems they give them to anyone because we have such a poor standard across the board. We know Cas will get done in by Grant again at some point.
