[Match Discussion] Disciplinary

Post by Nu Shooze » 16 May 2022, 13:03

See Mamo’s got a grade E charge to defend for his strop yesterday. Was amazed he didn’t get binned at the time to be fair. E seems a bit harsh though, you get that for gouging!

Popped up on Twitter. Happy if it’s BS though.

His reaction didn’t look good, but I understood it. He was trying to play the ball and was being prevented, then he gets penalised.
He did bring the ball back though! At school he would get a sticker for that!

Had a look at today's disciplinary minutes and no mention of Mamo and a crusher although George Griffin was reviewed for something similar but found not guilty.

You can't be talking about the Watts high shot? Clear 2 games minimum.

So I've just seen it says....

Charged with high tackle

Details of charge: Tripping - reckless tripping

How does this work?

There you go, not fit for purpose. As for Mamo, the lad got frustrated and the referee should have realised and had a word, but in fairness to Mamo he did walk over to the referee and apologised and that should have been that.

I like Mamo he seems a good bloke nothing is too much trouble for him he always claps the fans before the warm up and goes to the fans after the game for a chat taking pictures and that

In my 20 years watching Cas I don't think I've seen a player who shows the fans his appreciation as much as Mamo does. Always first player to the fans and always last one to leave the fans.

He gives 100% every game even though it may not always work he will always try. Had some good games lately so let's hope it continues.

Just watched superleague show. Looks like he may of stuck a leg out at same time as hitting him high. The leg trip may of caused the high shot.

I agree but it does show the level of reffing when the trip was missed on the field and needed a video replay.

I would also ask how you can be charge with one offence and found guilty of another? Surely they need to start again and issue a new charge for trippinG

Liam Watts will be available for the Wigan game as the reserve fixture over the cup final weekend will count as the second game of his suspension
