There looked about 150 giants fans... there weren't meny in the sitting down stand so there must have been nearly 3,000 behind the sticks !

Makes you wonder what monetary level Wakey are marketing their home games. A city with over 100,000 population and only 3166 last night is shocking. Leigh or Fev would do better in SL regarding attendances.

Tigerade said “over 100,000 population”…I agree, getting that with their population is poor

Does that 300,000 include the 5 towns?

I think Wakefield City is around 100K but around 335K if you include 5 towns. So compare their crowds to ours, where Cas has a population of around 45K, and it shows how bad Wakeys crowds really are.

It’s frequently used quiz question that goes - What is the biggest (largest population) city in the UK never to have had a professional football team?

Answer: Wakefield

Without that distraction and a great tradition of good sides, anyone could be forgiven for thinking the club should be packing them in….

18 0 down all ready to Wigan last thing they can afford is another hammering and have Toulouse having a better points difference
