DP and Warrington

Post by Tigers1926 » 11 Mar 2022, 22:33

DP just doesn't look happy at all and what's happened to Peanuts defence? (Percival just handed him off quite easily) Oh, and it won't be Warringtons year this year either...

Glad St. Helens won I don’t want wire to do anything this year or next for the players Powell as he cannot do anything with them should have got an average side maybe then he would have done something

I don't think he'll last a season tbh, but it's the choice he and a few players chose. Oh dear how sad never mind..

St helen's defence is just outstanding. 28 points against in 5 games and taking out Catalan and Warrington so early in the season. Good luck the rest of super league.

I’m not looking to much into this game.
Not many if any will go to saints and win.
Warrington arnt owt special.
Their fans think they have the special one.
The Warrington Facebook page as gone into melt down. I’ve quite enjoyed reading it.

Let’s hope we win tomorrow because we’ve dropped back to second from the bottom.

Just let DP go guys please. He is history. It’s like that brilliant boy or girlfriend (See what I did there)? Diversity at its best! Always just keeping an eye out to see who they are copping off with. Let it go.

Agree. They defend with as much aggression as I’ve ever seen any side do.

It’s hard to knock them as their work rate is fantastic and they continually reap the rewards of bringing young players through who can perform at a high level.

I still think DP will keep them in the mix and I have no beef with him for leaving.

As I've pointed out before Mautautia is a bang average player who occasianly throws in a great performance his performance last night was how he played most of the games he was at Cas poor defence knocking on losing the ball in contact I was delighted we swapped I'm for Mamo just need Mamo to start showing he's a decent player now

Don't get me wrong, I'm really glad we had DP and what he and our club achieved. I'd like to see him move on as he has, but he just looks so unhappy at wire. Agree about saints too, they're gonna take some beating.

That Warrington pack is dreadful. Cooper, Philbin, Mulhern and Bullock aren't good enough in the front row. Currie and Holmes are ok, but don't do anything out of the ordinary, infact they seem to be the same sort of player, so when you have 2 players on either side who do the same sort of job, it's stifling to the outside backs.

I was bothered at the beginning about losing Holmes, but seeing what Kenny Edwards has done when he's played for us, I think we got the better player.

Holmes, to me, looks the most unsettled of the lot - he just doesn’t look happy. Is he finding it difficult settling in over there after being a one club man for so long?

I said after the Warringron v Cas game that Warrington will win as much silverware as Cas this season ZERO. I still stand by that. Powell doesn't seem that bothered when they get beat either. Dont know if he now lives over there but if not the commute would be a nightmare.

Ogi is predominately a left edge second rower, and a very good one at that. He’s playing on the right which he dislikes to accommodate Ben Currie who is playing left. That begs the question why Warrington signed him if they think Ben Currie is better in that spot?

Matautia got brushed off by Abdull in stoppage time down the lane last year which lost us the game. Nothing new.
