Isn’t Marie Colley the coach? Not sure what her credentials / qualifications are.
No idea.
Not heard of her.

They put a statement on the website two months ago that they were in the process of looking for a top coach to take over the team since then the five or six good players we still had left have all walked out as well

To be fair the games Iv seen on tv they are terrible anyway.
No, they weren’t terrible - they were a decent side and good to watch until Lyndsey Anfield ‘retired’ then popped up at York a few weeks later and took half the side with her. Georgia and Tara were never gonna stop very long after that, they are too good to be playing in a depleted side. I fear for us now, there’s simply no quality left at all. I have no clue what the actual reasons behind the quick demise is but can only hazard a guess that other clubs are, at least, covering expenses etc.. which we weren’t.

Shocked at what’s happened with the ladies team enjoyed watching them before COVID they were very good. I fear that next season they will be like a new team and will be getting hammered every week

Beyond embarrassing.
I can only hope the new players/coaches are given time to develop and provided with the appropriate level of support, on and off the field.

All comes down to facilities. York now have facilities to rival Super League clubs and a have a state of the art gym.

Something happened to make coach Anfield walk out followed swiftly by a group of our best players im not having its to do with facility's or not paying travelling expenses what from Cas to Leeds come on now
And for another 6-8 to follow something's up surely that's not been told

Not sure who, as I don't really follow the womens game, but one of the earlier defectors mentioned on twitter about facilities and what York had to offer

Having read it, I can’t blame someone who is a student at Loughborough and also an international athlete moving because her existing club won’t even cover her travelling expenses for regular 150 mile plus round trips.
Serves Cas right. We can’t expect to have a loyal and successful squad on that basis. Seems like a one way street to me.

This is taking the p**s now - either commit to the womens game or don’t bother running a side at all. We’ve lost a full team in less than 12 months!
