After reading the full statement, you have to be a 2022 season ticket holder to get these tickets.
Won’t apply to me.

Nice to see the Marketing team with some ideas, get people in through inexpensive Xmas gifts for first game of season and then hope they keep coming.
Simple idea, but things seem to be on an upward curve in the communication department

What about 2021 season ticket holders who didn’t have one for 2020? I though this was in lieu of the Sts home game from last season.

along with the direct debit idea a number of good things are coming from the people above i would love them to push the free kids tickers in the schools and our local clubs getting flag waving and the little motor bikes back on the pitch

Great offer indeed, preaching to the converted, however not everyone is or knows a season ticket holder. That’s likely to apply to first time visitors down Wheldon Road especially and I am sure you’ll agree we need new blood to boost attendances in the years to come.

Apparently there’s been a mix up.
It did mean 2021 not 2020 season ticket holders.

Correct. It's for the cancelled St Helens game from last season.

Do you have to be a 2022 season ticket holder Or part of the new scheme for it to apply.
I was a season ticket hold last year and for many many years before that.
I wont be for 2022 due to the old knees and back being knackered, will be picking and choosing games next year. Mainly where weather is warmer and the joints don’t hurt as much.

Surely being a ST holder for 2022 has nothing to do with it? The game was lost in 2021 so anyone who had a ST should get the offer price tickets?

I think 2021 season ticket holders who did not renew have the following options:
1) donate
2) refund

According to this.

Tickets for the game scheduled on Friday, February 11th will only be available for supporters to pick up when they collect their 2022 Memberships from our stadium store at The Jungle, however, we are working on introducing an option to purchase the tickets online in the near future.

You get the 2 Salford tickets only when you pick up your 2022 season ticket. So those who have chose not to be a season ticket holder for 2022, even if there were in 2021 are gonna lose out.
Why not make it one ticket for a tenner to any season ticket holder in 2021 who aren't renewing their ST in 2022.
Keep it at 2 for renewers.
