What a half with the best kicking game in SL and an organizer? yeah give me Richardson any day.
Organiser?! He can kick, yes, but that’s it. I want to see a halfback take the line on, look up, play what’s in front of him. Sneyd ain’t that. Neither is Richardson, I’ll give you that one

Like Gale? Gale might be aging but he's still the best half in the league. He's got it all. Kicking game, running game, support play and defence also ha the heart of a lion, or do we forget how he played against saints in the semi in 2017

Gale is too bigger risk. One more injury and he's done at SL level.

I agree with you defiantly a improvement from Sneyd for Hull ...the only question will be will he stay fit the same could be asked of Reynolds he misses a lot of games

I think everything you said should be done so with a past tense - he was the best half, he had it all. Unfortunately, his body lets him down more often than not nowadays. I think the fact you referenced a game from four years ago proves he hasn’t done those things more recently.

My point was more that Gale hasn’t taken a game by the scruff of the neck like he did in that semi final against Saints since then.

True, but it’s not been very exciting since and a season is a long time in the career of an aging who had just lost a couple of seasons to injury

Have you watched every game he's played at Leeds? You don't lose the bravery he has because you get injured. I'd rather have him in our team than Trueman and Richardson. Can't remember last time either had a game where the dominated the game if the ever have. Also think he's less of a risk injury wise than Trueman.

No, I haven’t but I have read pretty much every match report and watched most game highlights and my opinion is why I put. I also disagree that you don’t lose bravery when injured, especially if the injury is game related. I do agree with your points about Trueman and Richardson. I wish we had a “2017 version” of Luke Gale available next season. That really would be the cherry of the top of our cake.

But now over 4 years older and 2 season long injuries under his belt. On his day fantastic, he doesn't have many of those days.

Gale seems to have had massive fall outs with the coaches at Leeds making his position there untenable
When he went there he said it was his dream move turned into something of a nightmare really

Without Gale they wouldn't have won the challenge cup so it was worth them signing him for that alone.

The comment about Gale winning those who's name l cannot utter is no different to would we be in Super League had it not been for Danny Brough.
It's either a case of perspective or cometh the man cometh the hour or vice versa.
We have all seen games won an lost at pivotal moments or flashes of inspiration or brain darts.
As for Gale and Sneyd l loved watching both for the contrasting contributions.
As for Luke he was an arrogant so and so but at the same time that was at times made him imperious.
