Huddersfield, a tragedy awaiting

.
Saw this and thought "I'm glad we're not them".
It says that a charitable arm of Huddersfield town FC will run the stadium. The football club will make money from the bars, meeting room hire, weddings and concerts. Also the giants have to loan the stadium 10m to upgrade it and then be tenants of the football club.
It all sounds very messy. Ken Davey is owed over 19m by the rugby club, which has no money in the bank. Moreover they have to find another 10m and pay rent and hoping they are allowed to make money from the bars on a match day.
Their fans must pray each night that ken keeps his faith in the club and his family after that.

Oh for our little piece of paradise. The toilets may be awful but they're our toilets...

I’ve said it many times - fans of clubs that are tenants at football clubs moan about our facilities but at least they are ours. Football is a rich game and can pull the rug from under those clubs in a heartbeat. I’d rather have a home, that I own, with a few issues than pay over the odds rent to some rich playboys or not have a home at all.

It'll be interesting to see what happens with Salford.

Either way they are tenants but having a 5108 cried maximum won't allow enough money to pay the bills.
Like has been said, It may not be brilliant but it's ours.

Heard a bit of an update. 11 of the Huddersfield town chairmans businesses have gone into administration. They say it won't affect the football club but it's not a good sign.

Hodgkinson has had or is having his companies put into administration. Which means a failure to pay debts as one string. Normally the directors are struck off and banned from owning or being a director of other companies. Now that would make me worry.
