I’d keep Olpherts
Feki should retire and Clare could get a gig at Dewsbury.

I’m hoping Feki stays for the last year of his contract and takes the opportunity to prove his fitness and hopefully prove he’s the class act he was when in the NRL.
No doubt that if he can get back to his NRL form he’ll be a real asset next year and put real pressure on the whole three quarter line for places.

Have you got a link to the report? The only one I found talks about their quarantine on arriving i to Australia, nothing about them leaving.

He said he was raring to go to me couple of weeks back
great news that, having played with McLelland through our system at least they will know how the other ticks
don't think it will improve our team at all we desperately need another half with rugby craft and can make things happen if we get on top in middle off park. For me none off are contracted half backs offer this, and will cost us again in big games.
Yes it will I agrer

I genuinely think we are one top level, big minute prop and an experienced, durable scrum half away from having a shot at top 4 and a GF.
The three quarters are exceptionally strong.
We a really good range of back rowers, more mobile, athletic and dangerous than previous.
Mcshane has proven his worth. Evalds is one of the top fullbacks in the comp.
Watts and Matagi when fit can be a real force.
Trueman has the skillset.
But Millo needs replacing and we need someone to Marshall us round the field and be able to pose a threat taking the line on and being able to organise and shift the ball to create space. With those two roles filled I would be very confident.

Feki, Eden, Blair are those who could make way I would imagine. But it sounds as if all 3 are staying. Overload on the wing is the worry.

I don't get the crying out for a new 6/7 and a "Nasty Prop". If we can get a 9,6,7 & 1 that is settled we'll be fine. Last year we must have had about 20 different combinations for our spin. Chopping & changing that much does nothing for our attack. If we can keep Niall, Danny, Truey & Macca on the pitch for as long as possible we'll be alright!

As for the prop, I think we're pretty stocked in that department. Watts, Sui, Massey, Lawler, Hepi, Griffin, Hall & Martin are more than enough. Lets say we brought in Kane Evans as our big nasty prop, people would be buzzing. Until he has one of his brain farts and gets banned for 3 games and we're on here moaning we've wasted money.

I think our recruitment this year has been some of our best for a very long time. If we add Zak to the mix, great, it makes us stronger. If not, our 1-17 if fit will compete with any team!

Not interested in Evans. I want as direct a Millo replacement as poss. Decent hands if poss but someone who can do big minutes and hard yards. Griffin is not a prop. We have Watts, Smith, Matagi and Massey.

We have it'll experience in halves other than the makeshift GOB who has filled in well but is suspect with getting hammered. Seems a lightweight bunch with Trueman's back, Richardson and McLelland. Cannot see silverware with that halfback combo.

Put Millo and Gale of 2016-2017 in this squad and we could well be right in the mix for top 2.

I think Smith is a fair replacement for Millo. Makes good yards, good feet, great hands and can do big minutes! I think we would all love a top class half, but we don't have the money for that. We can't do what Catalans have done and go out and throw money at Mitchell Pearce. But look at Truey/Danny at the start of 2020 they were playing well together and we were playing good rugby.

By my reckining in order of my preference by position:

FB Evalds, O Brien, Quare Quare

W Fariamo, Feki (taken on trust), Eden, Turner, Fonua, Mamo, Olpherts, Quare Quare, Claire

C Mamo, Turner, Fonua, Sutcliffe, Graham

HB Trueman, O Brien, Richardson, Mclelland

P Watts, Matagi, Smith, Lawler, Westerman, Massey, Griffin, Martin, Hall

H Mcshane, Milner, O Neil, Robb

SR Edward's, Sutcliffe, Lawler, Griffin, Blair, Peachey

LF Westerman, Massey, Milner, O Neil

We have a pretty good squad with plenty of options.

Best 13 for me:
Evalds
Fariamo
Turner/Fonua
Mamo
Feki/Turner
Trueman
O Brien
Watts
Mcshane
Smith
Edward's
Sutcliffe
Westerman

Lawler
Massey
Matagi
Griffin/Milner

Looks strong.

For me:
- cant see a place for Claire or Olpherts. Would expect we are trying to offload at least one or Feki.
- ideally could do with a big hard running prop
- half backs are a question mark - which if fit Trueman might answer!
- hopefully we are going to have some luck with or take steps to resolve the injuries that have plagued us.

From that I would suggest recruitment is just about complete with perhaps a few spare quid for emergencies.

Feki remains the big conundrum but if fit and raring to go, we should be quite effective out wide and able to cope with an injury or two.

Pack wise I think quite a few folk have forgotten about Smith but if he steps up to the plate, he could replace Millo very effectively. I would hope Radders is working with him to bring out his best.

I heard Feki had redone his same injury, don’t know if it was a joke though.
