Re: Fonua
We don’t need another quota winger.
Re: Fonua

Re: Fonua
I’d dispute anyone saying he’s better than Faraimo, Faraimo has been awesome since his reintroduction to the side this year.
Fonua doesn’t appeal to me, Won’t be cheap, Is a quota player, Isn’t a specialist centre and too slow for the wing.
He’s not gonna be worth piling money into when Jordan Turner has done everything to deserve the shirt, Unless an out and out centre of very good quality becomes available.

Re: Fonua
There’s a reason why Hull want rid, and that reason is that his defence is terrible.
His strength is his size as an outside back, but that’s about all he has and it’s also his weakness - he’s not mobile enough to defend on the edge, not quick enough for a winger and doesn’t have the ball handling skills for a centre.
He’s a poor man’s Konrad Hurrell.

Re: Fonua
Couldn't have put it better Nottingham Tiger. Hull are discovering, you never go back out with an ex girlfriend. Sentimental move on their part that has back fired, bombed in NRL and bombed since he's been back here.
Re: Fonua
He was good his first stint at Hull gone backwards since then

I also don’t think we’d of got promoted in 2005 if we hadn’t resigned Brad Davis either…
