Why would you want to create a thread which is identical to a thread which has been running for 13 hours and has had 21 replies? 🧐

Breaking: "Leeds Rhinos have confirmed that Papua New Guinea captain Rhyse Martin has agreed a contract extension for 2022 that will keep him at Emerald Headingley next season. Martin, 28, joined the Rhinos midway through the 2019 season from NRL side Canterbury Bulldogs."

That’s that then.

Good. He was one they wanted out but hurrell jumped ship with vunywaya.

He's a bang average second row but excellent goal kicker. We don't need goal kickers.

Would love Hurrell at Cas reckon he'd be fantastic replacement for Mata'utia. Linked with Saints tho

Shame, he'll go well for them as well. Still tbf I think our backline and forwards are shaping up beautifully if we can keep Matagi and get another big front rower. Halves aren't great tbh but really comes down if Trueman can get his best now he shouldn't have to worry about his back, Richardson and O'Brien aren't great but good enough imo

He can't pass
He can't tackle
Fitness levels are poor

Very strange signing for saints

Aye absolutely bizarre.
Injury prone and unfit.
Can be a wrecking ball but also a liability.

Saints are looking good for next year, some excellent signings.

In relation to hurrell, you can carry explosive players like him if you have a consistent uninjured side, something they have generally had since 2017.

Unless Saints are moving him into the forwards, I cannot see where Hurrell fits into their side. The first choice back line next season for Saints will be something like:

Welsby
Makinson
Hopoate
Percival
Grace

All better players than Konrad Hurrell

Saints fans can't either, they're not pleased with it at all.

Hopoate can also play full back and welsby can play anywhere in back line aswell as in halfs so having hurrel in there just gives them that extra option.

Yeah that would make sense. Hurrell can cover back row too and with all his faults he's great player to be able to bring off the bench and make an impact, which I think would suit him with his lack of fitness as he wouldn't be playing long minutes
