To be fair, from what I've seen so far, Wire fans seem happy with him as a squad player.

I'm in two minds on how successful Powelly will be at Warrington.. if things don't go well I can see him under pressure early with some of his signings under scrutiny from the Warrington patrons

Looks like my comparison between him and Shenny is true. He's kicked on since leaving Cas and Powell knows it. Question us has he signed him as a winger or a centre ?

Didn't he leave us because he wanted a starting centre role? Being a squad player won't cut it for him. Strange times.

Warrington seem to have some good young outside backs when I've watched them recently wonder how they will fare over next two years or so

They won't get a game in the next 2 years. Peanut and king are the starting centres.
