Re: What the heck.
Being back scrums and there is an incentive to the kicking team, sometimes you do win the ball.
We don't need to change the game every year.

Rules Committee - "I know, let's take one of the skills of the game and kick it into touch..."
The irony...

I mean I get incentivise keeping the ball in play and that, but it is a fair tactical benefit.
You give up possession and create risk, but gain field position.
Seems daft to me.

I wouldn't mind the captain's challange brought in over here if we had video refs at all games

Re: What the heck.
I think a lot of the Ref issues in all games are self inflicted.
On a Sat’d at 2:15 a bloke came in and spoke to the skip, you took your lead from that. If refs stood for no crap there would be less moaning and appealing, it’s too much like football now, let them make a decision.
I like captains challenge, the times you hear the NRL ref say “So you want a challenge?” And everyone shuts up. Bring it. But with refs with balls.
I’d like the RU set up, where you hear the talk “ I’ve seen a knock on and I think X, anything you got that says different “
Mistakes I don’t mind as long as I know why.
