They replace Andy Ackers (ankle), Krisnan Inu, Morgan Escare and Josh Johnson. Jack Wells, Matty Costello and Joe Burgess (ankle) remain unavailable.

Ackers was probably their most dangerous player last week while also Escare and Inu can be dangerous so its good to see them 3 bot playing.

We look stronger and they look weaker. I'm going for a nice win by 20.

Cas 36-16 Salford
don't think patton was injured last week, it just said misses out. so it may actually weaken them.
They look stronger to me Sarginson and Taylor will strengthen them more than losing Ackers imo.

Our forwards need to be better than Salford's today in this weather. Not a day for expansive rugby.

I think all this rain, will be to Salfords advantage. We need to play smart.

Time to use our kicking game. Be dodgy with a slippery ball. Keep hold of the ball run in and look for gaps. Use this weather to our advantage. Just my thoughts I'm no pro.

Same for both sides.
Don’t see how it will affect us more than Salford.
Only thing is see happening is more miss handling and lost balls.
The team who handles the conditions better, wins. IMO.

Yep need to keep hold off the ball and smart kicks, who ever executes the kicking game better will win this game. Just keep pinning them down with Gruber kicks.

Could be our last chance for a few seasons to get anywhere near a final. I see the next season or 2 a rebuild under Radford, so hopefully we go all out today and in the semis IF we get there. COYF.

Made CC final in Powells first full season in charge,no reason why we cannot achieve that in Radford's

I’m the opposite I feel we will be even stronger next season with Radford wanting to prove a point that he’s a good coach.

Really looking forward to this afternoon's game.

Would love to be there - even if it meant getting drenched.

I find him hard to listen to but I enjoyed hearing Brian Carney say last night that, if we beat Salford, we were the team that the other 3 would not want to draw in the semis....

Come on boys - let's get stuck in early doors have a really solid win.

Would like to see the same focus in the players eyes as we did in 2014 cc when we bossed wigan. Best game i have seen us play in terms of focus and intensity.
More of that today will put a proper marker down to the rest of em.

Would have thought the big 3 would want Cas or Salford in semi to give them an easy passage to final. We always struggle in one off games and can't raise our intensity levels like the top teams can.

The only way I thought Salford would win today was by being more expansive and giving the ball some air which given the likely playing conditions would be mad. Time for pragmatism over flair and our pack and interchanges should have too much for them. Not sure we'll cover the 10pt spread but fully expecting the win.
