Re: Magic
Why Salford?? I thought the idea of magic weekend was to have derbies, or as near as possible derbies on the road. Could it be that our neighbour's got fed up of being beat..

I think the fixtures have been done by looking at 2020's finishing league positions.Tigers1926 wrote: ↑23 Feb 2021, 21:18 Why Salford?? I thought the idea of magic weekend was to have derbies, or as near as possible derbies on the road. Could it be that our neighbour's got fed up of being beat..

Yeah, if I remember rightly, we smashed warrington, leeds and wakey but can't remember saints. I'm sure the original idea was derbies on the road..

Re: Magic
If the Magic games end up being a ‘regular’ fixture with one team simply giving up home advantage, they are probably trying to keep the derby games as these provide much-needed finances for the club involved when they are played at home.

Re: Magic
I have always liked the idea of fixtures against teams who you finished near last season. 1 v 2, 3 v 4....
What I don't want to set is last year's best side getting to play the promoted team.
Salford have been the better team than us for the last 2 seasons, its pretty fair is that.
