If the season start is delayed, it would make sense just to get rid of the stupid loop fixtures so all teams just play each other home and away as it always should have been.

Regarding scrums. I've never understood why the kick n clap boys were allowed to keep their repetetive scrum grunt-fests with all the extremely close physical contact involved, when RL abandoned scrums on the grounds of avoiding passing covid on!? The sooner scrums are brought back the better.

when they bring scrums back it would be nice to see the hooker doing his job and getting the ball, this feeding the second row is not for me it makes scrums a pointless exercise

you mean introduce some integrity to the competition? You’ll be suggesting the regular season winners should be declared champions next. Ridiculous...

If there waiting to start the season when decent crowds can come in they may be waiting a long time ...

Although the gentleman concerned appears to be downplaying his efforts, he has also added that it's not something average joe should attempt. He only did it because he's a triathlete and was on a training run. This meant he both knew his ability to cope with open water and could maintain his body heat after exiting the water by continuing his run.

Great effort nonetheless.

If they hadn't and someone picked up a serious injury, this board would be full of 'I can't believe the coaching staff made them train in dangerous conditions' comments.
