Re: Experienced prop?
Been one of Hudds stand outs and very rarely misses a game. Bags of experience, what more do people want?

Re: Experienced prop?
I think he’d be a rate signing. Big, raw boned, good defence, great off loading game. An international with bags of NRL experience. A player we have always struggled to contain when we’ve played Huddersfield. Pretty much everything we have been asking for and at 32 not too old for a prop for a year or two. No pleasing some folk.

Re: Experienced prop?
We ask for two top props. We get a 32 year old from huddersfield and a lad from hull who as not played for first team all season. Sorry no great confidence in next year.

Re: Experienced prop?
It could be his age if Watson wants to build a team and he has a younger signing in mind.old cas lass wrote: ↑24 Nov 2020, 20:36If he’s that good why as Watson off loaded him.
Powell doesn’t seem to see him as long term
Re: Experienced prop?
Or could be that Watson wants josh Jones and has to find a way of freeing up the funds

Re: Experienced prop?
The article says that Watson wanted to release matagi to acquire a quota spot

Re: Experienced prop?

Re: Experienced prop?
Apparently we've only borrowed (loan deal) him which does of course remove the need for a transfer fee
