Re: Fafita
Would have him in a heartbeat but I very much doubt it will happen.
Re: Fafita
No thanks. He did a “McMeekan” on Wakefield....got a big, fat contract then his standards dropped. Also, didn’t he use our previous interest to get said contract in the first place?

Re: Fafita
Fair points Fumper, but I personally still think he's a top quality front rower who has the X factor, could be a fantastic player to bring off the bench and change a game with his offloading game etc.
Still as I said the likelihood of him coming based on what I would assume would be substantial wage demands probably rule it out as ever happening.............

Re: Fafita
Perhaps players and agents will need to come to terms with the new financial landscape certainly in the UK
Clubs will not be wanting to hand out inflated contracts with no guarantee of crowds, delay in selling season tickets. or perhaps with either limited capacities or people still reluctant to attend places where they are unable to social distance.
I personally will be making my own decision on where l feel safe to visit
But hopefully with the potential of a vaccine who knows.
I personally think deferring the start of the season may be a prudent course of action.

Re: Fafita
We offered him a very good deal to join us a few seasons ago, he was very close, but Wakey then upped their offer to keep him and he stayed.
Re: Fafita
Rumour had it that when he was “injured” at some time during early lockdown he went to Perpignan as the guest of the Catalans chairmen. He can funk right off for me, if his heart’s not in it the club should get rid.

Re: Fafita
I would take him like a shot. Players who commit three defenders to the tackle every time are few and far between.
But I can’t see it happening in the current climate.

Re: Fafita
Nah. He was quality but hasn’t been the same player since his foot injury & his attitude isn’t what I would want at the club

Re: Fafita
No Thank you. Not a chance would I want him.

Re: Fafita
A few years ago definitely. Now, no thanks - Wakey have had his best years I think and seeing his attitude for them this year I don’t think their fans will be too sad to see him go now.

Re: Fafita
He’s a prop and fits the Radford mould. Personally can’t see him leaving Wakey though.
Re: Fafita
I heard same be surprised if he leaves Wakiefield tho myself
