We have to build confidence somewhere.
Where better than a weaker team.
We can now build on that win, let’s see how we go on Monday.

For talking sense
The team are doing it tough but only once have we played without spirit since the re-start and they got rightly slated for it credit where it's due tonight surely?
Tigerfeat, stop talking real sense.

I thought it was a solid win given the squad decimation and losing 3 players to injury, one of which wasted 1/8 subs inside the first 5-10 mins.

We played with a pack doing huge minutes and missing our big names. To play that well at times is a huge credit to the boys and in particular some names who get a regular bashing on here (Moors, Foster, Milner) and the likes of Smith stepping in with no previous games under his belt.

Win is a win, doesn't matter who it is against.

That’s the best our left edge has looked for some time. Junior played really well and looked fit, causing problems to hull kr all game. Give Eden some half decent ball and he’ll score all day long. Love watching him play when he’s on song. No substitute for pace and he’s still got bags of it.

Don't wanna be that guy because it was a good run but I still don't think Shenton did owt special. Made good metres fair enough but he went past 3 people and still got caught a fair distance from the line. If anything it highlighted his lack of speed and how past it he really is.

Maybe biased tho cos I'm really not a fan of Shenton anymore

what can we take away, 2 points.

I think the bickering reflects the game, at twenty some nil, the script was written, but we let a contest break out.

Positives, some fringe players showed up and might have potential. Negatives, plenty, but get the 2 points in the tin and move on.

The game on now, this is properly in the balance.

Yes, we let them back into the game but losing 3 players you’ve gotta give credit to the lads left out there. Stuck at it and got what we deserved. Massive weight off the shoulders and we can hopefully kick on now, finish the season positively and work towards next year. Well done lads, great effort out there tonight.

Agree Tony.

We are a far more potent attacking force with him in the side. His try scoring record is excellent. He doesn't get enough credit for it. He worked hard tonight.

Exactly my thoughts
Had problem with Sky signal. What was it disallowed for?
Not a clue if I'm honest, scoot from dummy half and put ball over line

The try was chalked off because he brushed against the legs of the man playing the ball which he isn't allowed to do.

Cheers Sparky. That’s something else I’ll be watching out for in upcoming games to see if that rule is applied consistently

Keep an eye on mr roby, he likes to scoot over in exactly the same way.

Where exactly could dan smith go anyway. He’d won the team good position right on the try line. He didn’t impede anyone, he stood his ground and Milner dived to smith left. Not our players fault, bad defending or impossible defending by HKR.
I asked an ex cas hooker how he saw it.
He said try all day.
The fine margins always seem to go against us.

How we going to field a team for Leeds on Monday?

Looking at yesterday that’s another 4 out and who’s due back?

Tony
