Cup Semis

Post by Tamworth Tiger » 03 Oct 2020, 10:50

This probably makes me a bad person, but I really want Wigan to beat Leeds today.
I’ve never really recovered from Chuck signing for Leeds and winning silverware with them while we had a few years in the wilderness.
I don’t want to have to go through the same with Gale.

Good point Tamworth.
But on the other hand I don’t want hardacre to be successful with Wigan after what he did to us in 2017. It is still laying bitter in the pit of my stomach to this day.

Leeds are more our rivals so I want them to lose today.

Then I'll shout for Wire or Salford in the final against whoever gets through.

When faced with this dilemma
I always say who l want to loser rather than who l want to win.
Watch the game and cheer no one.

Outstanding game management from Gale and Lui that first half. Nowt for Wigan today I feel. Hard watching a game when you want both teams to lose!

Hate to say it, but we miss his leadership on the field.

Brilliant Gale lead team around like a top half back should every kick bang on target

Leeds seem to be the wet weather big game masters.

I'm getting flash backs of Old Trafford 2017🙄

I’m wondering where this Luke Gale was at Old Trafford in 2017.

Unfortunately for us he looks like he learnt from that day.

That said his forward pack have been very good so far, giving him space to perform.

That’s true. He didn’t have this kind of field position to work with at Old Trafford.

He’s also getting hit late after every pass. Must be playing by different rules in the cup...
