Josh Griffin
Only my humble opinion but if we are looking for a new centre then I think we should go ALL OUT to lure Griffin to Cas, we have his brother and maybe they have a desire to play in the same team or something, but there is no doubt about it, the bloke monstered us on Sunday and he’s looked back to his best in other recent games, He’s also rarely injured and he probably wouldn’t cost more than shenny is on now, I’d like to see him at Cas!!
Re: Josh Griffin
More chance of winning something at Hull so couldn’t see it.
Re: Josh Griffin
He’s under contract at Hull. I somehow doubt we’ll be throwing any transfer fees about in the current climate.
Re: Josh Griffin
More chance of signing Darrell Griffin...
Re: Josh Griffin
More chance of Zak Hardacker flying back to cas on a Griffin.
Centre wise:
Has Matty Costello signed with anyone for next year yet?
Same with Harvey Livett (would be a good cover option too)

Re: Josh Griffin
Costello signed for Salford and Livett also signed for Salford
Re: Josh Griffin
Shame, new they were linked, didnt know they had signed.
Re: Josh Griffin
Huddersfield fans seem to think a lot of players want out because of the decision to let Woolford go. I would take Matty English, Jake Wardle who would both improve our team.

Re: Josh Griffin
Both of those would be top signings, reckon we could sneak in and get English not sure on Wardle though sure his brothers experience would help us I also would look at Holmes and Hewitt if they wanted to leave

We were close to signing Wardle a year or two back but I'm guessing his brothers experience was one of the reasons it didn't come off. I also think the Senior twins have huge potential.

Re: Josh Griffin
Should be pushing for England, he’s a top centre and never lets hull down when playing for them. He’s come a long way since he a had his brief spell with us all those years ago.

Re: Josh Griffin
Apparently we tried to get Matty Dawson to sign for us till the end of the season from Bradford but he turned us down over money/trial. Sums the club up perfectly at the minute can't get a young Cas lad to agree terms after penny pinching whilst we over pay crap aussie crocks. He wanted to sign for Cas but with Furlough he is on from Bradford meant if he returned to train he would lose the money and he only asked Cas to make it up and said no but expected him to train for weeks for free??? . That's from his dad. Embarrassing and also some acadamy lads have been stopped getting paid the very little money they earn from club. Embarrassing.

He’s 29. Hardly “a Young Cas lad”

Re: Josh Griffin
Matty English would be ideal, but rumour has it that Saints made a cash offer for him that Huddersfield turned down. If that’s the case, I doubt we’ll be signing him even if he leaves Huddersfield.

Are you just making stuff up now for the sake? Matty's a good mate of mine and after reading this, I asked him, he's not a clue where you've come up with that!frainthepain wrote: ↑16 Sep 2020, 11:58 Apparently we tried to get Matty Dawson to sign for us till the end of the season from Bradford but he turned us down over money/trial. Re: Josh Griffin
A called him out when he referred to a 29 year old as a “young Cas lad”. He never replies to verify things when proven wrong.heritage1926 wrote: ↑30 Sep 2020, 08:06Are you just making stuff up now for the sake?
