I didn’t say they didn’t know the rules. However, the kick was landing in the field of play, so HTH can a 20m restart be given for the Hull player catching it behind the line?

Of course he would,would mean richardson not getting battered after hes kicked at end if every set because they know hes gonna be kicking

Would mean matautia goes back to centre thus strengthening our back line and adding much needed pace to it

I know that’s the rules.

What I’m saying is it needs to be looked at where a good attacking kick isn’t punished by a stupid rule.

Trueman would’ve made a difference. Would’ve allowed Pete to play in centre and Blair into back row.
