Thought it was gonna be an awesome signing when he was announced, 12 months on and I think it’s been poor. I know we’ve only played 7 matches but he’s had four months off and still not fit. He’ll still play basketball with Jesse and co though 🤔

Bit of team news in here https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.pontef ... 3316%3famp

Watts out for 1 week it sounds like
Jesse and Smith have niggles
Moors still not fit.

Feki not playing but sounds like choice rather than injury with Clare and Olpherts on the wings

Bit of positive news all in all.
Especially coupled with Powell confident smith and Millo will stay another contract.
Like how Feki isn’t being pushed in and has to earn a chance. Hopefully one day we’ll not believe how we could ever leave him out.
Sounds like Eden is a shoe In now at full back which we shouldn’t be surprised about given Daryl pinned all of his 2017 hopes originally on greg playing there an not zak

No mention of Cook, Foster, Blair and those 3 would be on the bench if fit for me.

Thinking same myself.
Alway seem to have 4/5 out, we get 1 back, 2 get injured.

I noticed saints had their best 17 out last week.

Are we doing something wrong.
Can’t be coincidence cos it’s happened ever season since 2017.

There’s no doubt we could reduce the demands of training and intensity but at what cost to performances and fitness

Five absentees according to article from Powell today. No mention of Foster or Cook (maybe hes just not mentioned them because they are out of the equation for the considerable).

Watts I'd a freak accident but to have 6 other players out after a period of nearly 4 months off (albeit followed by a couple of weeks probably intensive training) is poor. Could lose a few more early games with a likely higher rate of injuries.

Add to that the re-occurence of the full back issues. Not expecting much from the rest of the season.

I think now is the time for the sport to redouble it’s efforts collectively as I sense a feeling of hopeless despair creeping in...

The question is this;

Who will be the first club to announce the redundancy of their top earner.

Kasiano at Catalans is my bet

To see the length of that injury list ( Watts apart), after 4 months of lockdown, and six months of inactivity, I have to be honest I felt deflated. Thought we would be picking up where we left off with a fully fit squad, raring to go, and with massive competition for places in the 17.
Dont get me started on our so called star buy, that Mr Wells claimed was a statement of our intent. 10 months since he arrived, and still yet to make his SL debut, injured or unfit, we are certainly not getting value for money. At least he'll have company in the stands whilst he watches on.
