Doesn’t sound like Evalds is back with Salford.....
Seen him on photos from what Salford have put on social media.
Fair enough - I hadn’t looked in that much detail.
I just noticed his blonde streak he has in his hair, wouldn’t be surprised to see escare debut this year though.

Ins and outs during lockdown
Coming in : Niall Evalds (Salford Red Devils)
Outgoing: Jordan Rankin (Parramatta Eals)
:-k
The "coming in Niall Evalds" has now been deleted, just says outgoings Jordan Rankin now.

Although does still say "Niall Evalds, who will be playing his rugby in a Tigers shirt next season" in the opening paragraph.

At this rate it looks like Evalds will be carried through the Arthur Atkinson gates by Kane Evans...

That’s a sight I’d like to see Fc.
Ruben Wiki will be opening the gate for them.

I wish Jordan Rankin could’ve stayed but under the circumstances it was right for him to go back to Australia, I thought he was a really good player for us and looked settled in the fullback role. At the moment Evalds isn’t official so we haven’t actually got a fullback, I feel the times right for Cas to make a statement on him signing.

It's happening, his own team mates bid him farewell and good luck at Cas on twitter posts.

Wasn’t it Dan Murray that tweeted it ages ago when it first came out

I think a few of the posts suggesting Evalds departure to Cas have now been removed, and "likes" "unliked".

Could be for contractual reasons or maybe an embargo has been put in to place? Either or it just all seems a little odd. Tony

Evald's started getting abuse and some threats against him once it all came out. He put a post on Instagram about leaving and received some death threats in the comments which have been deleted.

People having to deal with the bloody plague and some have nothing better to do than send people death threats cos a player is going to another club at the end of his contract God help us all....

People make a choice on how they want to progress with their career. Obviously Niall felt it was the right time to make that decision. Whether he comes to Cas or not it's his decision and people should respect that. Hate mail and death threats come on grow up.

From a source I trust:

Salford wanted £15,000 for Evalds, Cas refused
This has since reduced to £5,000, Cas again refused
My source thinks that Evalds will be a Cas player for the rest of the 2020 season, within the next two weeks.
Kane Evans was almost a done deal before lockdown but not too sure now if it’s still on the table due to finances
